Audio reels for composers

Send your score the way it’s meant to be heard.

chord.link turns your library into a reel you can hand to a director, a music supervisor, or an agent. One link, streamed in a real player. No zip files, no download folder, no sign-up wall for the person listening.

$5 a month if you already pay for Web For Actors, $14 if you do not. Same features.

How it works

Three steps from a session folder to a link.

01

Upload the masters

Drop in WAV, AIFF or MP3 and chord.link handles the transcode, the waveform and the artwork. Cue numbers, tempo and instrumentation come along in the metadata.

02

Build the reel

Drag cues into the order you want a director to hear them. Cut a version for action, another for drama, another for the agent, all drawing on one library.

03

Send one link

It opens in any browser, on a phone or a studio monitor. Set a password, an expiry date and whether downloads are allowed, then watch who actually pressed play.

Features

Everything a delivery needs, nothing a listener has to learn.

The people you send music to are busy and they are not going to install anything. chord.link gives you control over the file and gives them a page that plays instantly.

F01

Streaming waveform player

Scrub, skip and loop a section without leaving the page. Nothing is downloaded to play.

F02

Your domain, your face

Point reels at music.yourname.com and set the type, logo and cover image once.

F03

Access control

Password, expiry date, download on or off, and a kill switch on any link you have sent.

F04

One library, many reels

Cues live once. Reels reference them, so replacing a mix updates every reel that used it.

F05

Play analytics

Who opened it, which cues they finished, which they skipped at eight seconds.

F06

Metadata that travels

ISRC, writers, splits and cue sheet notes stay attached, and export as CSV when asked for.

After you hit send

You’ll know it landed.

Every reel keeps a log of who opened it and what they played through. It replaces the follow-up email you didn’t want to send.

Turn the log off per reel if a client would rather not be counted.
